Nurse Faith's Nook
Welcome to all students, parents, and guardians!
I wanted to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Faith Berstler and I am the registered nurse here at Jamaica Elementary. I have been an RN for 8 years and in the medical field for 15 years.
I have worked in Las Vegas and Texas specializing in orthopedics, neurology, and trauma. My recent position prior to coming to LHUSD was here at Havasu Regional Hospital where I worked on the Intermediate Care Unit.
My primary focus now is taking care of your children by monitoring their health and safety throughout the school setting. I am here to encourage good healthy habits, start the screenings for vision and hearing, administering their daily or emergency medications, and yes.. even apply band-aids to their boo-boos!
I have 3 grown children and a granddaughter that attends a school here in the district as well. I want to ensure that your child has a safe place to come. Their health and safety are my top priority.
I will be posting newsletters that will come out every month with our school newsletter.
